Connecting your external investment accounts—such as 401(k)s, IRAs, and taxable accounts held at other institutions—helps us give you better investment advice.
In addition to investment accounts, you can also connect debt accounts, such as mortgages and loans. This helps you see your overall financial picture, putting you more in control of your wealth. Your connected account data is updated automatically, to help you know where you stand.
To Connect External Accounts:
Web Browser:
- Log in to your account.
- Navigate to "Settings" on the home page.
- Go to the "Connected Accounts" tab.
- Click "Connect New".
- Search for your firm. Ensure the firm name and URL match your login credentials.
- Enter your firm's username and password, and follow any additional security prompts.
Mobile App:
- Log in to your account.
- Open the left-hand menu.
- Tap "Settings".
- Select "Connected Accounts".
- Tap the "+" icon.
- Search for your firm. Confirm the firm name and URL match your login credentials.
- Enter your firm's username and password, and follow any additional security prompts.
To Manage Existing Connected Accounts:
Web Browser:
- Log in to your account.
- Navigate to "Settings" on the home page.
- Go to the "Connected Accounts" tab.
- Select “Edit” or “Delete” alongside the account(s) you wish to manage.
Mobile App:
- Log in to your account.
- Open the left-hand menu.
- Tap "Settings".
- Select "Connected Accounts".
- Tap “Edit” alongside the account you want to edit or delete.
