How Do I Deposit into a Taxable Investing Account?

The primary way to fund your taxable investing account is via ACH transfer from a linked bank account. We do not accept credit or debit cards for deposits.


How to Deposit Funds

Using the Mobile App

  1. Log into the Betterment mobile app.
  2. Click Move Money on the home page.
  3. Select Deposit and complete the prompts.

Using a Web Browser

  1. Log in to your Betterment account.
  2. Click Deposit in the upper-right corner of your Home page.
  3. Select the account and enter the deposit amount.
  4. Confirm your transaction.


Need to Deposit Over $300,000?
